There are rumours now that in the next patch (due imminently) shamans will be able to dual wield.

Remember how I was backing off the idea that shamans are god-like twinks?

I revoke my backing off and return to my previous position

I shall have to look at the full patch notes.

Though I'm going to keep my alliance mage going I am really preparing for my Blood Elf mage (yes, I'm pimping my horde characters so they can get nice shinies for the Blood elf when he arrives).
