Happy or worried?

I am drunk.
Sparky is often drunk but it is rarely intentional.
Sparky intended to get drunk tonight and has succeeded wonderfully.
However I have irritated fiance (always fun. he get growly while irritated and there may be spanking later). He is annoyed because I'm apparently not sticking to English - when drunk I lose linguistic lines (I blame my french tutor, she said to speak a language you need to THINK in that language - so I do). He is growling because I keep slipping into French and spanish without realising.
I am now proud, arrogant and preening about my leet linguist skills (especially since I had to speak to an Italian this week and didn't understand them which really hurt my pride).
MUAHAHA FEAR MY LANGUAGE SKILLZZZ
Oooh.. lost the ability to type. Drunk. Should stop now. *drinks*
Edited: oooooh bad typos and random franglish

Date: 2006-02-12 09:29 pm (UTC)As my french tutor said, to speak a language you need must think in it - if you have to translate everything in your head into English, then translate your response back from English into X language to reply then she said you weren't truly fluent. I don't know how true that is, but I got into the habit of forcing myself to think in the language, at least to a degree. When VERY drunk, mental walls come down and mind goes into a freaky melange sometimes. I won't drop into French or Spanish. I'll take French and English and messily force them together quite randomly.
