This isn't so much suckage (well it is but I suspect it is foreshadowing) as anticipation of future suckage. You know, occasionally you meet someone you have to work with for some time and you KNOW that by the end of it a significant portion of your brains are going to have melted.

And so we come to today - dragging me in on a Sunday morning no less because something was 'urgent and couldn't wait'. Y'know. I've heard those words so often and never once have they been true. This was true to form - it annoys. I have a life. I will sacrificed my time for emergencies - I accept that as a necessity of the job - but it has to BE an emergency.

Then they're late. 45mins late for the appointment. Ok, from time to time people are late. I accept that, no need to go ballistic, right? But when they waltz in completely unapologetic on a Sunday morning after being 45 mins late? Bad client. No lawsuit.

And to top it off we offer tea or coffee (as you do to clients, even ones who are unthinkably late). He asks for a triple mocha. 0_o This is a lawyer's office, not a Starbucks. You will get coffee. It will come out of a jar of granules. If you're lucky it will have been real coffee, but in that case it will have been gently heating in its silly glass jug all morning, if not all week. It was probably last cleaned during the last coronation. You will drink it and like it.

I really do wonder at some people.

I've been looking through them much. old stories, going through the calander. it's worth a looking through now and then. remember the charity fancy dress thing? Regency Goth?

And yes, going through the memories has also reminded me I still owe you angel fic.

Alas it will still have to wait.
So many ambitions and so much soul sucking dreary stuck at 7 bucks an hour working 6 days a week 9 hours a day. damn job.

anyways. piece by piece I'm trying to secure my creativity. I've worked on drawing the characters of my rp verse nd been kicking aroudn the idea of making LJ icons for all your muse journals. ahh if only I could do such things from work.

Yup! Actually wore regency goth again because senior partner had the STUPID idea of casual fridays. We're lawyers. We do not go to work casual. We go to work fancy dress, formal or naked. :)

Mad secretary is still mad. And yak lady is unfortunately still yak lady.

And yes, damn it, you owe me an angel fic! We've got a televangelist on the loose and unexplained free time!

Hehehe wish I could do that at my work. but alas I do not work for Hot topic. I'd get to do that every day. yes I opwe angel fic but unexpectedly there is a stump in my plans.
