Me: huh?
B/f: You need to pick up milk on the way home.
Me: Uh-huh…
b/f: What ARE you doing?
Me: Huh?
B/f: You sound distracted.
Me: Working.
B/f: Really? Doing what?
Me: Builders working, I’m monitoring and supervising.
B/f: Uh-huh. And what, pray tell, are these builders WEARING on this hot sunny day?
Me: *purrrr**growl**purrr*
B/f: THAT good is it? Most builders we get are all over 50 in ratty jeans, a paunch, stained t-shirt and an inch of arse crack.
Me: No. All under 30. No jeans. Shorts. Short shorts. No shirts. No paunches - six packs.
B/f: That good?
Me: Yummy, definitely yummy.
B/f: This is so wrong! I can't see them!
Me: Or their tanned flesh and toned muscles and really really tight shorts and all under 30 and the sun bleached hair and melting eyes and *sigh*
B/f: *grumbles* remember the milk. See if you can gift wrap me a builder.

I'm amazed - they seem to have leaped a long way with this election

heh, I expect it'll be crowded when i get back there. i'm sure a lot more couples will be moving to spain.

I'm tempted to test the EU's laws on equal recognition - in theeeeory a marriage in one state must be recognsied by all.

But likely not in this case. Besides, UK's domestic partnership laws come into effect in December
