No muses are kicking around for ages. They're happy to snooze.

Now I have exams... and guess who wakes up? Down! BAD MUSES! Sit!

In other news, it is incredibly amusing to me when a Christian accuses us pagans of copying her religion!

Yes. She believes pagans have copied Valentines day...

hey sparkindarkness. what's up?

The Passion of The Christ (http://www.ThePassionOfTheChrist.com) is in theaters soon - this week on Wednesday.. what do you think about this movie? I'm going to see it for sure - the trailers (http://www.thepassion.tv) were enough to convince me. I read somewhere that it's the widest opening ever for a subtitled movie; I have a feeling subtitles won't detract from the full effect of this movie though. After looking at the trailers which have no subtitles or english at all, it was reinforced for me that lack of spoken english in this film won't hurt one bit. To sum up my impression of The Passion: it's a work of art.
Good Website (http://www.passion-movie.com)
Another fascinating aspect to this movie is all the controversy that has been generated about it.
Some people, not really representative of Jewish people, but rather self appointed Jewish spokespeople, such as Abraham Foxman from the Anti-Defamation League, seem to have been attempting to denounce this film for months as being anti-Semitic. The news reported that they even stole the script last year! But here's what some Jews say (Jews who don't make it their job to tear apart other people): by Rabbi Daniel Lapin.

Nice to see some people speaking rationally.

So what do you think of all this?

Hmmm, I think not. I can do without a film of blood death and gore while pretending to be righteous.

More power to Mel if he wants to make money doing this, I'll be keeping a suspicious eye out for backlash though, thanks all the same.

Yeek, exams. *shudder* Good luck.
(Will not go into Valentines Day rant, will not, will not, will not.) But why would pagans ever copy something from Christianity? Possibly there are instances I don't know about, but it seems silly, really. Especially since Christianity did so much copying itself.

(Question: What's up with that comment about the movie? Seems totally random...)

Through them! Will write now! *galres at muses* you will all start talking RIGHT NOW!!!

I have already ranted about Vday so much it's scary.

I don't know why she thought pagans copied - basically she realised we were celebrating something at the same time of Vday, and decided (after already blasted everyone for not acknowledging that it was a Xian holiday by a SAINT) that we must have copied her church since the alternative wasn't something she could accept.

And the Xian copying is just that. I look forward to seeing her try to justify the egg laying bunnies at Easter

The movie comment's SPAM. It seems that a lot of people are so very eager for everyone to go see this movie.
