Getting rather severely pissed

I don't know why I'm doing this to myself, I should stop reading them. The forums are brilliant, but gay civil unions became a topic on the politics and religious boards...

AMAZINGLY the religious forum was rational, logical and tried to express themselves calmly (alright what they were expressing made no sense, but still).

Politics board? Some words to thee here, even though none of you will read them, because I can't ruin my credibility by ranting there.

1) I don't care if you think we have stolen the word gay, please refrain from calling us "sads" or "sadsexuals."

2) If you're going to say "straight relationships bring life, gay relationships bring only death" please back up that assertion.

3) I am bloody sick of being called unnatural.

4) I'm about as interested in reading what your oh-so-ever-bloody-forgiving-god said as I am in the mating habits of snails.

5) I'm not sick. I'm not in need of help. I need neither healing nor bloody well saving so save it!

6) NARTH is not a valid source. It certainly isn't unbiased (and what kind of retard are you to claim that?!)

7) WE DID NOT CREATE AIDS!!!

8) WE ARE NOT WILLFULLY SPREADING AIDS TO KILL STRAIGHT PEOPLE!!!

9) We are not paedophiles, incestuous, or rapists - call me any of these again and I'm going to get me an axe.

10) I DO NOT WANT TO FUCK YOU. I don't care if you ARE male! I'll spend the rest of my life celibate first!! Why would I want to let such scum in my bed?

11) I am not trying to destroy families - why the hell would I want to destroy a family?! What are you smoking?!

12) Homosexuality is not a choice! Oh, yeah, it is, I can be celibate. Well thank you! Remind me to send you a box of roses as soon as I got the cynaide in the bloody things.

13) And if it were a choice, what business is it of yours anyway? Keep your nose out, I'm this close to breaking it as it is.

14) We are capable of monogamy, bigoted bastards, if that's your idea of the best way.


I should leave these boards, I'm getting too angry, especially with the e-mails that come in because they daren't post their bigotry publicly. But I'm NOT! No way am I running away from this. Let them bring their insults, I'm going to rip their insane frothing prejudices into shreds and feed them back to them.

"sadsexual"? ...that's...lame. new, and lame. rather disturbing, really. the rest of it is mostly biased paranoia found by hard core closets... ~shrug~ i do know what you mean about loosing your cool though. especially when they're never willing to listen. instead, they mostly resort to all sorts of irrational 'logic' and just plain old wierd reasoning.
