I'm writing! I'm writing! *glares at b/f*
Dec. 8th, 2003 09:25 pmNever enourage him to be a muse again. He has strange definitions of inspiration.
But I HAVE actually got Spark in Darkness 40 ready. Yes, honest! All 2700+ words of it... um... but I'm not updating it.
Because it's another cliffhanger, and I think that might get me garotted at the minute, yes? It is a bad habit of mine, btu I can give them up any time I want I tells ya! *ducks*
Wait! Put down the sharp objects! I'm still on schedule, and I'll have Spark in Darkness 41 ready before weekend and post them together. Sans cliffhangers. Uh, maybe.
In other news. Listening to Enya is a bad influence. Especially on long journeys when I have a notepad (ostensibly for law work). Said note pad was full and the law not mentioned once. But I'm not posting that either, because Enya makes me write painful fantasy which convinces me that I need therapy because it was PAINFUL to write and doubly so to read.
(still, writing about 20,000 words today on it alone was a good sign... though on reflection not for my work backlog)

Date: 2003-12-09 03:50 am (UTC)*cuffs fall and get picked up* ah well no use hiding this stuff. But I actually pla on kidnapping you for my own personal use. then you can write to my heart's content. ;P
so you see there'd be no point in killing you
Anyways hope this is a good thing and BF is supportive for you. this is really good stuff and isnpires me to get mine out there and posted. And I seriously sympathize with the painful writing part. Did one of those last night. Dared to show it to a friend and I think I traumatized her. -_-...
In other posts, yes, I do live on the west coast of the states. ut give that another Month and a half and I'll be back in spain. My time scedual is all wonky anyways. I hope work eases up, at least enough for you to skim some off your backlog. Much luck to ya!

Date: 2003-12-09 09:28 am (UTC)Thank you... aww ye'll make me blush. I have writer's curse - I don't like my own work, which is good in a way. And painful work is just baaaaad, especially when it's painful and you don't realise and inflict it on the unsuspecting.
Wonky schedules! Oh yes, that's me all over. West coast? 8 hours time gap, that's just not thesable, spain is better though...
My backlog is dying rapidly, because HOLIDAYS are aproaching. Oh gods thank you!

Date: 2003-12-09 08:49 pm (UTC)York, huh? Medieval town, yeah? Fancy taking a stroll on the walls?
Enya is...
bearableokay in small doses, I suppose. Like a few songs everyyearonce in a while. As long as you don't claim it's Celtic music. Then I really would have to hurt you.(no subject)
Date: 2003-12-10 11:10 am (UTC)Why yes. Yes I do. Of course the traffic in York can be so bad at time that it'll take us days to get there, in which case I can run away and hide in a moment fo distratcion and run to... err...
You know, there aren't many places in Britain that don't have old ruins/aren't coastal/don't have old mines nearby... I run to the New Forest!
I do like Enya, and a lot *nods emphatically*. I can;t say I really label any of my music. But no, she isn't celtic, if I had to I'd class her as New Age/New Age/spiritual.
