feng sui question has been answered :)
Jan. 29th, 2010 03:34 pmBeloved has accepted backing off in the Feng Sui until he's done more research. If he reads up about it, it's precepts, the belief and spiritualism around it and think it's right and true and decides to rearrange everything because of it then I'll help him move everything with pleasure.
But I don't like the idea of him getting "Feng Sui for dummies" and half-arsed rearranging things for something he doesn't really believe in but thinks is cool and fashionable and stuff. It's kind of disrespectful, methinks, to an actual spiritual belief - especially one of a foreign culture. Kind of like putting Buddha statues in the garden as if they were gnomes.
However, we are getting an acquarium. He is out shopping for one now. Unattended.
I have the fear....
