It would seem that several Americans, outraged by Scotland's presumption at following her own legal code rather than succumbing to political pressure, have decided to arrange a boycot of Scotland and Britain.

I'm actually generally in favour. Because the crazies on this site are people I would very very much like to keep at the opposite side of a large ocean.
(Though gods forbid they actually get their outrage together about, say, Uzebkistan or Saudi Arabia or Zimbabwe or Sudan)
And then we reach this line
Most especially after the horrific events of 9/11, the world needs to be reminded that terrorism must be punished and never rewarded. Terrorists must never be shown compassion or mercy, for these people have no respect for human life. The British, who ironically have themselves been victim to numerous acts of terrorism on their own soil, seem to have forgotten. They need a reminder, and protesting by boycotting travel and business with Scotland and the United Kingdom is the best way of doing so.
We need a reminder....
We have forgotteen...
Centuries of Irish Republican attacks (in latter years funded very much by American dollars and completely ignored by an American government who didn't about the bloodshed being funded from their shores), from the bombing of World War 2 to 7/7/05 London Bombing.
But we need a reminder.
Because only the American way of vengeance and hatred matters. Only the American way of punishment unto death can ever be allowed.
We need a reminder...
Because our blood stained history of battling terrorism, of being victims of terrorism, of having our civilians tagretted en mass by terrorist tactics, of suffering at the hands of AMERICAN FUNDED terrorism means NOTHING. Years upon years of untold casualties to terrorism mean NOTHING.
Because we don't kowtow to American ways and American systems so we need REMINDING.
Words cannot describe how insulting this is. The sheer ignorant, evil arrogance of this filth enrages me more than words can express
