Basically LJ has fired many many staff. I don't know the implications. I don't know what this means. I am not saying doom and gloom is on the horizon (personally, my money is on them consolidating more in Russia, but I have no technological expertise) but it is something to worry about

If your lj is something you value and you've got stuff on it you want to keep, i strong advise backing it up and making copies
