I am drunk
Oct. 5th, 2008 01:04 amIt's my birthday. I am now disgustingly close to 30. I am, naturally, freaking about this in my usual annual fashion.
In addition after weeks of distraction I have finally had chance to examine my hair. Mother's genetics have indeed gifted me with her "my hair was pure silver before I was 30" legacy (which, it has to be said, beats my brother inheriting my dad's legacy of "my hair was thinning to severe comb-over territory before I was 30") after years of agressively plucking out grey hairs, the last few months of ignoring it has revealed that I have 5 choices:
1) hair dye
2) pluck out all my grey hair and experience premature baldness in a VERY painful fashion
3) Try to aim for the distinguished look (except my body, height and face tends to put me in my late teens so this? Probably won't work.)
4) Rejoice that clients won't assume I'm on work experience.
5) consider making a grey streak work for me in some kind of cool fashion statement
In light of these events and this pondering, I think my drunkenness is more than justifed. Now I'm going to curl up in a corner and freak out.
