Rambly-rant: Fack checking in fic

I think I’ve rambled about this before, but I can’t find my old posts so am going to ramble all over again.

When I read I get completely immersed in the story, it’s wonderful escapism, it’s captivating and it feeds my lovely anti-social tendencies wonderfully - I don’t have to go out the door, I have whole words between paperback covers! Until my suspension of disbelief (hereby referred to as SSD because I’m lazy) shatters and I collapse into a sea of WTF
