Oh my good friend and guildie, one of my best friends in RL, we've been friends since we were knee high to a grasshopper (any snide remarks about my height saying things like "what, yesterday?" will be thwapped) I agree we have great times on WoW and with all our guildies.

But please stop trying to arrange "meet ups."

We know each other IN THE GAME.

We like each other IN THE GAME

We like each other IN DIFFERENT GAMES.

We have been INTERNET friends for years with some of them.

Why do you want to upset this balance by dragging us all to the same RL place? I mean, what we have actually works. Why mess with that?

What do you hope to achieve? Those of us who live close enough to be in regular contact already ARE RL friends. Half the guild doesn't even live in the UK and you're asking them to come for meet ups? This isn't realistic.

It looks to me like an office party - lots of people who know and get on well with people in one context then shoved together in a completely different one... awkwardness abounds.

Of course, this could be my extreme introvert side rearing its ugly head but I don't see any reason why I would want this
