Within maybe 3 weeks we will have the first drama as Lj forces something to be "mature" or "explicit" when it really really really shouldn't be

*laughing* of course. but first they actually have to make the system usable. i would happily use it of my own free will, because i don't really want kids on my lawn anyway, but as of right now, it's buggy as HELL.

a la Lewis Black: "get out of here you little shit"

sorry, your lawn comment reminded me of that

Personally I don't want little kiddies on my lawn either, but I'm not going to go out of my way to keep them off - that's what their 'rents are for :)

Nor am I going to flag things as not suitable for 17 year olds - in the UK 16 is old enough to do most things and, frankly, I don't think I've written anything that would have traumatised me aged 14, let alone 15-17 and I'm not going to make their/their parent's decision as to what is/is not suitable for them to read :)

And ye're right, the whole system is just insane insane insane and buggy beyond belief.

3 whole weeks? Wow, that's generous... I was thinking a week or less, especially since they implementing it just before the weekend... when all us freaks have more time to be on LJ!

I flagged their message as explicit per a meme going around.

I hadn't thought of that. If Barak was still around, you know everyone would have flagged his LJ.

I considered it but they're likely to ignore it and apparently they may ignore your flags if they don't agree with what you'rte flagging

Well I don't know, writing a script that sets any website with "Jesus" or "Christian" in it to explicit .... will be fun to watch.

Neither is mine. I bet someone is going to do it, though. There are enough who have wasted their time with friending a huge number of random people.

Yeah, the flagging thing is bound to be as big a hit as those Pepsi gifts. Maybe even as great a success as the Strikethrough.
