I really thought he was getting bette, maybe it was more wishful thinking than anything.

His Wheel of Time books are some of the most epic books I've ever read. Yes, they have irritated me at times, yes, some of the books have had problems - but they always pulled me back time and again and always manage to hold me. He will be missed.

Don't these things tend to happen in three's? Seems to me I've heard that and this would actually prove the theory! Pavarotti two weeks ago, that fellow (director) from here in the states last week, now this. *sigh* What the heck? *shakes head* I know what you mean about the books tho, there will be a HUGE hole where his shoes fit. :(

I started reading the Wheel of Time books when I was pregnant. I used to joke about how if I was lucky he'd finish the series before the kiddo went to college (she just turned 15). Very sad that he passed. His stories and he will be greatly missed.

No. He was writing the last book.

He left his notes with his wife, so I think she will be finishing it.
