Driving in to work and we discover that an accident has GRIDLOCKED the city. The sleepy Sparky brain wakes up and is most displeased.

Me at 5 minutes: This is ok, sit back, relax, enjoyt some minutes free of thought or effort.

Me at 10 minutes: the sun's a bit bright and it's a but warm, but it could be worse.

Me at 15 minutes: Ok, this is annoying. I'm going to be late and I have far too much work for this

Me at 20 minutes: Damn it, I have to reschedule all my appointments - I DO NOT NEED THIS

Me at 25 minutes: MOVE PEOPLE! Get out of the damn road! You think I'm letting YOU in? HA! I laugh at you! LAUGH I SAY!

Me at 30 minutes: Ye gods, I don't believe it. If at least 3 people aren't severely injured in this crash then I'm going to grab an axe and make sure they are!

Me at 35 minjutes: That's it. You're all dead. Yeah and you - and definitely you lady. Everyone on this road is dead, they just don't know it yet

Me at 40 minutes: *FROTH* *FOAM* AAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRGGGGGGGGGHHHHHHHHHHHH

Radio: - "Oh I wish I was a Punk Rocker...."

Me: "With flowers in my hair, in 77 and 69 revolution was in the air.."

Me at 45 minutes: It's all good, peace and love to you all - yeah, even you lady.

Who needs sedatives?

I feel your pain.

Here, the gas went down to 2.15$ a gallon and some idiot two cars in front of me slammed on brakes to stare at the sign, causing the person behind him to smash into him.

And because I was behind HIM, I had to sit and wait until the police came to clear up the wreck, making me almost late for law.

IDIOT DRIVERS

45 minutes?

FORTY FIVE bloody minutes?

(Cue Monty Python)YOUUUUU were lucky!

Took me 2 hours yesterday morning to make a bus journey that should take an hour. This is becoming the norm for me these days and no bodies being mutilated are involved. So I laugh at you 45 minutes. Well, sigh enviously actually but you get the idea.

I remember driving to work one day, and passing in the intersection a car that was propped very neatly on its side. I could stare at its undercarriage as I drove by. Cordoned off, and they kept the traffic moving.

If the accident can hold up traffic without clearing that long, one really hopes it was at least enertaining. A semi-truck full of cupcakes spreading tasty baked goods across a two-mile stretch of road, or something.

We've had 36 people die in car crashes in September alone this year. Makes me very very glad I drive to work at 1am... very very few dumbasses on the road then.

So *that's* what the lyrics are. They used to play it at pizza hut when I worked there and everyone thought it said 1707 and '69, which makes no sense since the 18th century didn't have punk rockers. Thanks for clearing that up :)

Ah yes, the right song makes everything better. The other night I drove home with I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For blasting from the speakers, followed by For What It's Worth. I think I was driving much too fast....

music does that to me - the worst is when I listen to trance music really loud. I blink and find that I've driven that last 30 or 40 miles, turned corners and everything but can't remember doing it. It's kind of scary

I carpool... mostly I drive, and it's all good until I pick up the other person... then when I hit the expressway from his place...

Now hear this!
The Expressway you're trying to get on is currently a 5-mile parking lot! You can get to work faster if you just get out of your %&*$ing car and WALK! Nyah nyah! 45 minutes!? HA! You're lucky if you get there in an HOUR! And this is at 6am... >.>

Me: /happy because I'm singing Within Temptation. :D

Of course, when my carpooling guy drives... I wear a crash helmet. He's the most terrifying driver I've ever ridden with.
