I'm baaaaaaaaack.

Well, life is putting itself back together. Is it fixed? No. Is it getting there? Yes. We have some new temporary lawyer helpy people in at work so I assume (reasonably - or, I can claim so at least) that the issue has all been ironed out with the powers that be (at least, i can claim that). Work load has dropped from "you will go insane and have a mental break down and all DIE!" to "massive". I am eating and sleeping again and generally feeling more human again and less yucky and messy and blah.

And I'm feeling a lot better because I just had a 4 day weekend! Yep, I called in sick on Thursday (not entirely a lie).

Well, an actual recounting goes more:
Me: *wake up* *groan* *sits up* CLINK
Me: Clink? *frowns*
Me: *examines wrist that has been handcuffed to head board*
Me: Hmmm, I appreciate the thought, but I need to get to work...
Beloved: I've called in sick for you, you're going to have a quiet day and try and catch up on yourself.
Me: How come your gestures of thoughtful love always involve bondage equipment?
Beloved: That's why you love me

So I've had a nice quiet time. Had a good Mabon, had some fun roleplay and had a really fun day in handcuffs. All is good.

Oh and this morning, even better, my muses are back! I thought I'd killed them with work. They are now demanding attention or they will sing annoying songs that will get stuck in my head. They're threatening to collaborate with Mad Secretary

So, is all good? Maybe not. But it's heading that way *tentative hope time*

SPARKYYYY!!!

Glad you're back, I was getting worried! Glad your muses are returned too--such a relief when that happens! Sounds like you and Beloved had a fun time (and why do I get the impression it wasn't just "yourself" that Beloved wanted you to catch up on?)

I had some rather painful news last week--does the UK have an exam to acquire the Happy Lawyer License comparable to the US Bar Exam? If so, you'll gather my "professional setback"--I failed my Bar Exam. By four points.

There is much woe in Joceville, and I've resumed studying for February. I expect to see more funny customers_suck posts from you now that you are recovering, to help me keep my humor and my sanity for the next five months.

JOCEYYYYY!!!!!!!! :0

I am glad I am catching back up again - with EVERYTHING.

we have a series of exams.... aieee, bad news and commiserations. That sucks, I imnagine it costs a fair whack to reapply? 4 points? 4 points is just bad luck. That suck horribl.

I will do my utmost to return you to the land of glee while you ace your next exam and tell the board to eat those 4 points!
