Lightening the mood and the plot thickens

No sleep last night. My eyes feel set in sand, my head is throbbing and the light is like an evil lance to my sight.

In the car, driving alone (battling a Norman and a damn Nellie), yawning hugely.

Turn on the radio and:

Suddenly the world is a better place. That song's better than Prozac. Sing it through and everything's good :)



Still trying to track down politics. Can't see what's happening but the apparent villain is Partner Baddy who is having ALL of his files reviewed for some reason - by the Senior partners no less. And Senior Partner 1 is in a HISSING SPITTING FURY (which is rare, with her). Senior Partners 2 & 3 are NOT PLEASED™

The lesser partners are walking small. Judging by the irritated looks they’re getting they have at least a temporary seat in the dog house.

Oh, and whenever we talk to them they all put on HUUUUUUGE smiles (you can see their wisdom teeth) all but poinging with summery happiness because there’s NOTHING wrong, oh perish the thought! Everything is bright and happy and harmless and wonderful and truly divinely successful!

And if we believed that we would be faaaar too stupid to be lawyers.
