sparkindarknessGuardian: Mr X (the Senior Partner, He Who is Known as God, Supreme Master of the Hounds, Wielder of the Haddock of Doom, High Overlord of All He Surveys) is coming to see you now.
Me: What? His appointment’s not until 10:00 *flustered sorting of papers into something resembling order*
Guardian: He says that since you’re not busy you could meet early and then he can go to Chambers this morning.
Me: *insulted pride mode* and what makes him think I’m not busy?
Guardian: You and Mad Secretary have just sang “I Wish I was a Punk Rocker” 5 times through.
Me: *ick* Oops… he can hear that?
Guardian: The whole building can hear you!
Mad Secretary: Tell everyone thank you, and we take requests.
Me: *headdesk*
