That is not the Seelie way. We do not rule by fear!
Our people are afraid of us - they cannot help that and nor can we; we are fearsome beings.
But we do not rule by it. It is not our basis. We rule by respect and honour and trust. They trust us to rule well, govern fairly, protect them and do things properly.
This is the Seelie way. We have the power, but they trust us to use it well - and we have a duty to do so.
