The logic is that us gays are the one constituency that politicians can out and out lie to. Where else are we gonna go? The republicans?

I have lost faith in Obama. Though he started off strongly, he is now becoming every other politician in America. When they start using the phrase "...that is consistent with my campaign/past stance..." you know they've become like all the rest of them.

Vis-a-vis us, this is Bill Clinton v2.0. Promises what we want to hear and get our disposable income (why else do you think the dems come after us) and then fuck us in the end (so to speak.).

I watched that last night (Daily Show)... and I'm inclined to agree with him... how nuts is it that it's not ok to be gay and be in the army?

"don't ask don't tell" is a STUPID idea too. Why should gay people have to hide behind lies, falsehoods and innuendo?
