Ouch - irrational guilt time

One of the partners is wonderful at checking up on people. The people she is checking up on usually want to throttle her as she gets in the way, nags and whines and goes through everything in excrutiating detail and generally makes us late with all our work.

Yesterday I endured a full afternoon and evening of her and she said she would return today.

I remember fervantly hoping that something would take her out of the office all day today so I can get some work done.

She rang in today. She won't be in. Her father has had a heart attack...

*wince* ouch. Hear that screaming? That's my overactive conscience...
