Update and musings - Generation Gap.
Nov. 14th, 2003 12:26 amWill get some writing done... I will.
I'm beginning to feel likme a right slacker. There just aren't enough hours in the day. Who was it who said humans need 8 hours sleep? Why wasn't I consulted on this?
And some plot problems. Spark in Darkness, that I still desperately want to return to a normal life, has too much plot. There's always another adventure, death defying battle or tragic occurance jsut around the corner that I have to fight with all my resources just to hold at bay long enough for the boys to recover from the last one.
On the opposite score, Light & Dark don't have enough plot. Oh they've got a vague wishy washy long term goal, but it's very Bush administration-ish (as in, has a vague goal but absolutely no concrete or plausible methods of achieving it). It also has a few short term goals, but even these don't really add to the long term plot much, they don't bring progress and may just short sightedly make things worse by setting up ill-thought out barriers I have to deal with later(y'know, the paralells to the Bush administration are getting quite spooky).
Anyway, enough musing, I got some copied up Generation Gap. Which has JUST the right amount of plot, thank you very much (and fails to resemble any nation's policies, as far as I'm aware).
( Generation Gap #4, more of Ethan's suffering. Introducing some more of the gang. )
