Musing about writing
Sep. 19th, 2003 08:57 pmTwo things to think about:
First, this novel thing (Nemo, something) after much soul searching, I've decided not to even look at the site. I do not have the time to commit to any mass projects like that, least of all with a time scale. Especially sicne I'd have to fight to find the right story to do it with (it would NOT be Darren/Rick, maybe the sidhe, or Ian)
Second Torquerre(SP?) press - oh yes, I am so writing to them. I think more of Ian, since this is definitely Darren/Rick place predominantly, and I've already sent Ian off... plus there's something more... MARKETABLE about Ian. It's something that is fairly simple, and the rules can be easily explained. The sidhe draw upon too much of fae mythology with is estoceric, different and alien. Generation Gap is frankly too loose and weird. Virtue of Steel is all over the place and I'm really lost on it. Angel was supposed to be a one off anyway.
So, Ian, whose also more flexible than the rest of them anyway.
That's the plan anyway, of course, all good plans, right? No doubt some new people will rise in my brain demanding to spread their mental problems round the world. *sigh* muse explosions are painful.
Oh, and on a side note. The pretty boys on my course are killing me. And there's one I can't decide whether he's utterly gorgeous and one of the best looking guys I've ever seen, or really ugly in a way that suggests a tragic accident involving 3 rabid badgers. It's maddening.
