Have spent a marathon night I shouldn't have been doing watching Firefly DVDs. Bad me - who needs sleep anyway?

My conclusions (beyond happy happy joy joy) are: Fox should be stabbed repeatedly for abusing this wonderful show as much as they did.

Furthermore, after watching Serenity I am upgrading the daggers to axes and going to town on Murdock. In that fdilm you can see all of the wonderfulness that Firefly COULD have been if it had been given the chance and not been interfered with. *growls*

A thought to give you hope in the long dark nights of no more Firefly episodes:

The Fox executives will be the first ones up against the wall when the revolution comes.

And I, for one, am ready to welcome our new fannish overlords.

heee. i'm watching firefly too. it is, in fact, made of awesome. except i'm being very masochistic, and spacing them out only two episodes at any one time, to make it last. i'm halfway thru the third disk. think i'll be finishing up that one tonight. *flail*

I love Firefly! *see icon* Serenity completely destroyed me though, in the best possible way.

I'm pretty sure all the battles the writer/produce had with Fox is why he's just burned out over it. I have not seen the series and refuse to watch the movie until I do. I am not wanting to watch it without a lot of people around who I like who like it. Getting said people all together will require food, booze and booze food. I'm saving pennies.... ;o;

yeah, not just cancelling iot the way they did, but the plot wrangles and broadcast times? Evil evil evil.

The movie is good stand alone. But it is INCREDIBLE once you have watched the series

Food and booze is necessary - v ery much so. Personally I am trying to arrange a cage fight - in one corner, naked with a cactus rammed up his backside - Rupert Murdock. In the other corner, fully armoued and armed with chainsaw and flamethrower, Joss Whedon.

Let the games begin
