R: *sigh* we've talked about this. Alcohol and credit cards don't mix!
Me: It's not that bad.
R: Really? "La Noche de la Bruja Muerta"? Don't you already have that book? But in English?
Me: Kim Harrison? Yes...
R: Then why do you want a Spanish copy?
Me: There'll be a good reason for it.
R: Such as?
Me: How should I know? I'm sober now! Get me a drink and I'll tell you
