Apparently I have to say who tagged me (consider that done) then reveal 8 weird, quirky factual things about me in a public blog (that would be this one) then I tag 6 more people to do the same. No tag backs. No repeating quirky, weird factual statements that have been posted less than a year ago.

OK *cracks fingers*

1) I have a weird and deathly fear of scorpions. Not weird you say? Sounds sensible? True, but I can't even stand them on TV or in pictures - even if they're REALLY fake.

2) I am a weird freaky clean freak. I can put up with mess but dirt makes me FREAK. i have been known to shower 4 times a day if its hot and I am sweating.

3) I occasionally travel to foreign countries on a whim

4) My old bed has handcuffs welded to the frame (don't ask).

5) My left knee was broken nastily in my heady youth and still growls at me

6) I turfed our conservatory before beloved made me change it

7) I'm allergic to lavender. I think. Either that or I have very selective hayfever that applies to oils as well. Or it's psychosomatic. Or I'm mad.

8) I almost lost my license when the nice police officer caught me going 85mph on a 30mph road.

ooh, speaking of scorpions... did you know that if you surround a scorpion with a ring of fire, they will sting themselves to death?

*sigh* I knew I wouldn't get away with it.

The bed frame was emtal and we found out - purely for academic purposes of course, that the scroll work was perfect for ropes/handcuffs etc.

Then we lost a key. It was someone's bright idea to cut the cuffs away using a blow torch.

It didn't work.

We did find the key but the lock was melted so they were forever stuck like that.
