Some squicks amuse me

I'm sat in the bath. My mobile phone, on the nifty bathroom cabinet thing, rings. (People have been bitching at me for never being in the same place as my mobile phone).

I, naturally, pick it up and answer.

Ok, can someone PLEASE explain what is so deeply and morally wrong about speaking to someone on the phone while in the bath. It's not like it was a camera phone or anything. And they're just freaking... I don't get it.

I mean, do I even count as naked? Alright, no clothes, but there ARE several miles and numerous walls in between us. You'd think that would be a far better protector of delicate sensibilities than a thin layer of polyester. They wouldn't have even KNOWN I was in the bath if I hadn't told them.

Some people confuse me.

That IS weird. I've talked on the phone with no clothes on before (usually cause I was in the process of changing when it rang) and didn't think much of it. I wouldn't care if someone I was talking to on the phone was nekkid either.

But I WOULD freak if they were using the -toilet-.

Is this an EmotionEric moment with the not-wearing-any-clothes face?

I daresay i think it is.

heh, well it is gross if you call someone and theyre in in the bathroom actually Going when they pick up and don't bother saying, "can you call me later? I'm in the middle of going" and just yak away with dribbling liquid, relieved sighs and farts going on in the backround.

But having a bath shouldn't be something to squick over.

If they're in the bathroom they should just not pick up the PHONE. Finish and wash yer freekin hands first!!

heh, ive called only two people like that. One asked me to call him back when he was done. The other I hung up on because he didn't.

Agreed, if they're on the toilet, that's just horrible.

bath? no problem. the only reason i wouldn't is because i hide in the bathroom. it's a good excuse not to pick up the phone.

toilet? ick. hell no. i get so disturbed by people babbling on their cellphones in the public restrooms.

I get disturbed by people babbling through the stall -doors- in the public restrooms. I don't go in there to TALK. Who decided that the bathroom was the place for huge gangs of girls to -socialize-?

What's with that anyway? And why can't women go to the bthroom without at least 3 or 4 other girls to give moral support.

I suppose that would make a very good excuse not to answer the phone... I am coming to hate my mobile.
