I had known about the tragedy and about Bush’s protection of marriage insult – but never realised the date was concurrent with the anniversary. Gods, I don’t know what’s worse – that the politicians are so blind to homosexuals that they don’t realise how thoughtless and terrible it is. Or that they are so cruel and malicious that they would do this intentionally.

oooh, yeeah. that was one of the first things that struck me when that came out. fucking bastards. probably a VERY nasty coincidence. but even if they did do it on purpose, do you honestly think they'd admit it? >

I think it might be a coincidence - if nothing else surely Cheny and his lesbian daughter would have balked (and how does that man face his duaghter, I wonder?) which says a lot for how sensitive they are to the homosexual community...

Admit it? They wouldn't, but I can just see Falwell or Robertson or Keyes singing it.
