I have...

I have a pair of skin tight, black linen trousers with red accents that deny the use of underwear.

I have a crushed velvet black shirt with fine, ultra fine black on black embroidery and a little ivory lace at wrists and neck.

I have a regency cloak in deepest black with a dark crimson lining.

I have knee high boots. Sorry. Knee high, pure, soft leather, night black BOOTS.

I have lashings of eye liner.

I have long fine golden threads occasionally dotted with tiny tiny shards of onyx (lovely present or what?) woven into my loose, freshly blacked (damn you grey hairs) hair.

I have wide brimmed jaunty black cavalier hat. It needs a feather.

I have poleaxed boyfriend *strokes ego*

I look regency-goth. And no, I don't care if that doesn't exist, this is officialy regency goth.

I was born in the wrong century (For Charles I!)

I look dark, foppish, romantic and very very gay. But not too camp (I think/hope), at least not mincing camp.

I hqve completely out of character levels of vanity.

And I am at work dressed like this. :)

that sounds *gorgious*. And the poleaxed boyfriend is being wasted by this work buisness, surely ;)

Sadly wasted. So I have to send numerous texts throughout the day to maintain pole acedness until i got home.

Hmmm . . . you either have delusions of being a vampiric wet dream, or your work has 'Come as you are Mondays' (also known, I think, as Casual days).

Not a bad thing :)

We do have casual days, but I think I'd be sent home wearing this on one - we're having a fancy dress charity day. People are guessing costumes. The best I got was the Gay Cavalier, The King's Man (oh how drole), Lestat's Mourning Ex, and Damn That's Good (I prefer that one).

i am insanely frustrated that there are no pictures, dammit.

<font color="teal>Have you been sneaking into my wardrobe? My writer doesn't believe you. Says you need to take pictures and post them as proof.

Kevin: "Your wardrobe? .....You ever dress like that.. I swear to god you'll end up in the lake. Headfirst. Honestly, that kind of shit is what we have Damien for, and you know it."

My wardrobe is full of clothes I can never usually wear in public.

Alas, I have neither digital camera nor scanner.

I'm also wondering how the hell you're getting away with being like that at Work? o.O

Fancy dress day :) Though one of my colleagues did declare them obscene and wrong (he was dressed as the pope). But another said I could wear them every day for her.
