And to follow up with the ridiculous

I am sure most everyone here has seen this particular bit of insanity on youtube:

And I'm sure have all considered the various medications this person should be taking.

However, while this is worth lots of classy mocking all on its own, it has been surpassed by this wonder:

This is the first time I've seen the "Leave Britney Alone" vid.

Even my ten-month-old daughter was disturbed. When you have a baby giving you the look of "dude, you need your ass beat" you've perhaps overdone the emo attention whore. (Seriously, she was giving me the "Mom, why isn't he getting a spanking for that tantrum?" look and she has no idea what it is.)

The second... *headdesk*

It seemed to go round the internet like wild fire and make the guy an instant celebrity. It's almost embarrasing to watch but utterly stunning too

I think Scott said it best.

It's all just marbles in a bowl of jello, as far as I'm concerned, but I'm odd, so who knows for sure? ;)

Hee.

How many people knew who the hell Chris Crocker was before that video? I know I didn't. And now it's had nearly nine million hits.

I think the video served it's purpose.

It did create a kind of fame, didn't it? It's almost impressive - sacrifice fame for dignity

Wow... I didn't see it before you posted it, and my first thought was, "Wow... what a pretty woman..." He's faaaar prettier than me, Spark. That being said... I think he has more issues than Reader's Digest. ;_; I feel bad for him... in the "OMG get that kid a blanket, chocolate-dipped strawberries, Moulin Rouge!, some Zoloft, and more hugs than God," kind of bad for him. :(

::hugs to the Spark::

He's pretty, sooooo not my type, but definitely pretty. And anyone who gets that emotional about ANYTHING short of their nearest and dearest dying (ALL their nearest and dearest dying, we're talking mass freak accident here to justify that kind of hysteria) is always going to be trouble.

He looks like a Ferrari-type guy... Beautiful to look at, but whooooaaaaa what a maintenance bill... - Richard Jeni

He's not my type either... I like 'em tall and dark, interested in females, and not a project, but dang... looks-wise, Chris Crocker could've stepped out of one of my sketchbooks. I'm off the market for project-boys. ;)
