On the mildly worrying side

I remember bitching about how cold it was earlier to beloved, then I read baranduyn's post and reflected.

I was bitching about it being cold, yes, and I was cold. But I was sat on my patio at 11:00pm, in a short sleeved shirt, with no heater, in January.

This is Yorkshire. I shouldn't even be thinking about going outside at this time of year without 3 layers of clothing and a St Bernard loaded with strong spirits, let alone at night.

Freaky, Freaky weather

I just got back from grocery shopping. It's nine p.m. in January in the Piedmont part of North Carolina and I went in a t-shirt and pants. And perspired from the humidity.

Dude, you should not be able to go about in just short sleeves in Yorkshire this time of year. I remember reading the Herriott books (the vet books) which was set up thereabouts and...there was snow and cold this time of year.

Something is very, very wrong. That's all I'm saying. Oh yeah, and "The Last Waltz" is on VH-1 Classic and I'm watching even though I have it on DVD. :)

On the weekends, I've been wearing flip-flops while running errands. I'm in Madison, Wisconsin, which means I should be up to my boobs in snow with wind chills of -20.

It's not right. Not at all.

What is the weather website for Britain? I tried Accuweather and was unable to get much of anything. No radar, no precip satellite, nada. You do seem to be experiencing a warm spell. We are as well but the western states got dumped on.
