Ah, well I normally go to yahoo.co.uk, 'tis why. I pride myself on keeping up with the world's news but weather conditions, even extreme ones, fall bellow my radar half the time. Most of our news has been on the massive gales, the flooding of Carlise and more to come. Hurricane force gusts in a country completely unused to extreme weather do not work well.
