You're pretty dead on for Minneapolis. It's got all that good things, but the nom-nom factor is way low for most of the immediate area. However, if you drive up north about 4 hours, you have fairly high nom-nom potential. The Boundary Waters -- although beautiful and lovely and filled with scenic hikers -- also have no roads. None.
