And in the “just not right roleplay files”

The coterie has tracked down some of the missing vampires. In particular they believe that mages are behind some of the disappearances.

To this end they find themselves sneaking into the base of a small Verbena coven looking for clues. A quick look round finds that the grounds are guarded by vicious animate carnivorous plants!

The coterie prepares for battle when an idea arises:
V1: hey, do you remember the Vegan activists we used as cover so we could sneak the bodies into that meat processing plant for disposal?
V2: Yeah..?
V1: Well they were pretty gullible, and they really trusty us right?
B: Yeah...
V1: Well I have a plan...

Yes. They fed Vegan activists to animate, carnivorous plants to create a cover for them. The image of hippies being eaten by plant life will stay with me for a long time.

For some reason, I'm now having flashbacks to that dreadful Bill Cosby movie involving a militant vegetarian siccing killer bunnies on people and what not.

(I'm also wisting for a vampire game. Why do I never get to play in any vampire games? I can do evil, honest! If I could just find someone willing to run one...)

That cracks me up.

In our steampunk campaign my character (the Hon Lt. Henry Wooster, future uncle of Bertram Wooster) is noted for his... short supply of wits. So far our adventures have put him up against a monkey that had a higher IQ than Henry, and at least one carnivorous plant that took over his mind.

I wanna play............. :P

That goes all too well with the redneck trees occasionally referenced in Something Positive.

I think people had best be glad I don't game much these days...

My almost-ex-husband once threatened to leave a particularly disruptive player's character to the tender mercies of a couple of redneck trees if the player continued to be an asshole. The improvement in attitude was both sudden and dramatic.

Please tell me someone got bonus XP for that plan. It makes me want to do the Dance of Glee.

Vegans are *always* on my 'list of people to whom bad things need to happen in games'.

We have canines for a REASON, dammit. Pass the steak.

I can *totally* see my players pulling that. I probably shouldn't have read it out loud to the one in the room and sent the link to another...

Leonard Part VI! One of my wife's favorite movies. She watches it every few years to keep her immune system in tip top shape.

hmmm, I haven't seen it but it sounds traumatising.

I wish I coulkd PLAY vampire instead of running it!

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:44 am (UTC)(link)
LOL, dumb characters can be fun if roleplayed properly

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:44 am (UTC)(link)
so do I! But i always end up running it!

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:45 am (UTC)(link)
Aieeee... mye eyes.

That's it, I have to make me some redneck trees!

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:45 am (UTC)(link)
I need to use them - I could have so much control!

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:46 am (UTC)(link)
yes, he did. Just because :)

[identity profile] sparkindarkness.livejournal.com 2006-10-03 10:47 am (UTC)(link)
LOL, I have to say I am not generally impressed by them - but if they keep to themselves I don't mind.

But these were vegans protesting at a meat packing plant - so they weren't just vegans, they were fundamentalist vegans who demand the rest of us pretend that soya actually has a flavour as well. They get eaten by the plants. yes yes they do

heee, the madness spreads
