Actually, the disrespectful would arise from implying that Christ had a sexuality, period. They get just as upset and insulted if you imply he was married to Miriam of Magdala, too.
(Not Christian, just spend a lot of time writing/poking/peering at them, and a lot of time studying mediaeval theology. Ah, being a mediaevalist.)
