Notre Dame student paper has posted a oh-so-funny cartoon


The joke?

'What’s the easiest way to turn a fruit into a vegetable?'
'No idea.'
'A baseball bat.'


This is the alternate punch line because the original joke (ending with "AIDS" rather than "A baseball bat") was considered to make light of a fatal disease. Because, y'know, making light of violent gay-bashing is SO much better.

GLAAD has demanded an apology and retraction of this vile thing
