That title should be read with great stinking CLUMPS of sarcasm btw.
In his election campaign Obama promised to repeal Clinton era DOMA (Defence of Marriage Act). Such was his promise - his carrot to get the gay folks on side.
Holy flip-flops America, the Obama admin has now defended DOMA.

The Obama justice department is moving to dismiss a challenge to DOMA.
Coupled with his about face on Don't Ask Don't Tell... well, I think Obama's dedication to gay rights and equality is becoming clear.
I guess any questions and doubts over his LGBT pride month have been settled at least. Empty words, no action.
